I called MH Primary Care to request a referral to a urogynecologist. The response was that I needed to come to my primary care doctor first. She scheduled me with Abigail Lisowski, PA. Abigail provided excellent care, listened well, asked questions. After examination, she recommended and will refer me to a urogynecologist.
Abigail is fantastic, her level of care, listten and bed side manner is great. I did have scheduling issues and communication issues with the office. Abigail ordered a chest x ray and teh technician was not going to arrive until later that day, 9:30AM was the target time. I made my follow up appointment for 10AM. At 10AM, I checked in and waited for 20 minutes to find out the x ray technician had not shown up to work yet. I was confused why the front desk did not call me to tell me before I showed up and proceeded to check me in. It was a waste of everyones time. The office worker told me there was an emergency. But when I spoke to the technician, it was not an emergency, it was her annual physical. I love the providers here, but this was not a great experience with the x ray scheduling and communication.
We discussed what might be happening with my health and how we should approach what we needed to try and find out. We both agreed on that plan.
