I can't say enough about Dr Schmelzer and her care. She is always thinking ahead and listens to all our concerns. Her treatment plan is progressive, yet conservative, which we appreciate. She's definitely is an asset to Atrium Health.

Dr Schmelzer is amazing. Not only has she kept up with and remembered my child since birth, she truly cares about my family and children. When I have concerns that I voice with her she never dismisses them and makes it easy for me to bring up anything no matter how silly it may seem. She helps recommend further resources if needed and has provided loving care to my family for years.
