Dr Meyer is an amazing doctor. Very caring and is eager to help you feel better.
Dr Meyer is the only physician who actually listened and had empathy for my issue and feelings. I'm post menopausal but am doing everything to prevent weight gain, muscle loss, and have healthy habits. However, I just don't feel right in my midsection and I'm frustrated. One doctor I saw reviewed my old labs and dietary and activity stats but never examined me. He then stated "you can't pick your parents" and "my wife said spanx work really well"...rude and condescending. Thus, Dr Meyer will be the only one I see from now on! I just wish it was easier to get appointments but that's the nature of this area-too many people not enough providers.

This was my first appointment with Dr. Meyer since we just moved to NC from Ohio. I was very impressed with her.
Dr. Meyer ALWAYS LISTENS. I asked about my open wound care and she was prepared to order a wound care specialist if she felt one was needed after examining my wound. She felt that it was being properly cared for and a specialist was not needed but I could reach out to her if anything changed. I also required documentation for an insurance claim that I have in process and it was provided to my insurance company in a very timely manner. In my opinion, Dr. Meyer is THE BEST.

I have been with Dr. Meyer for 20+ years. She is not replaceable and the only doctor I really trust. She knows me, hears me, really listens and give the best advice etc. Anywhere she goes I have followed because I had too many bad experiences with other Dr's, PA's nurses. until I found her. When i am asked to see another dr i won't beca7se i lost trust with what i have gone thru. Dr. Meyer is not a money doctor. She is great, concerned and want you well doctor. That is why I don't question anything She does or say because she has my best interest and/or what's best for me at heart. Not just me all her patients. She is the best and we need more doctors like her.
Dr. Barbara Meyer is a caring physician. She takes the time to get to know her patients and understand them. I would highly recommend her to anyone.
I am confident in all aspects of the care provided by Dr. Meyer. She provides excellent care to her patients. She provides detailed explanations when needed during the visit and is available through My Atrium portal for questions after the visit. She listens to any concerns and provides sound guidance with multiple alternatives to address any concerns.
