I like a personal relationship with my doctor. I did not get the feeling that this doctor is warm and personal. He was professional, but was not engaging.. I got care for my hand, but like he was a robot. When I told him my daughter was a doc, he never responded with any remark, so it was hard to know how he felt about his patients. I told him this, and he responded with " I do my job with skill, and I don't feel I have to connect." Patients do better healthwise with a doctor with whom they think actually cares. However, I do think he knows his subject, and I would trust him to operate if he thinks I need that in 3 months.
