When i called to make this appointment I was very clear that my daughter hasn't been to a pcp in years, but I had all her school records of proof of her mental illness and being in the spectrum per school officials. I had 375 pages plus weeks of school work to show that my child was behind. I also explained that I would like an extended visit for that day because it was alot to go over. The provider rushed and said I have another patient. I understand that they have time limits, but when you explain and provide a weeks worth of notice. To not be taken seriously by anyone and the lack of support even when all the documentation I brought even a police report the doctor wouldn't write me a letter to stay home with my child for her safety and to homeschool her. The perpetrators family and others involved only live 2 mins from my home. We also live in a rural area. All this no child left behind laws and I can't even get a provider to help me keep her safe. I was told I needed to wait. Even with years of documentation from the school district even with a current iep in place.
