I scheduled a visit with Dr Mciver because my usual Primary Care Physician was completely booked for the next 45 days, with no room for appointments such as mine, which was a necessary follow up to a broken rib the week before. Atrium should not be be booking doctors' appt books so full that there is no space in their schedules for needed injury follow up appts. I had no idea what to expect from Dr Mciver, but was very pleased with his bedside manner, his attention to my needs and his suggestions for a path forward. It is a shame that either of these physicians have to work for a corporation with agendas focused on corporate profits over affordable quality care. I am completely displeased with the impersonal machine that Atrium has become and will be seeking a private practice primary care physician so that I can get back to the doctor/patient relationship that I formerly had with Dr. Seth for over 20 years. Atrium policies on scheduling prevent me from continuing a quality, timely relationship with Dr. Seth and I have no confidence that it will be any better with Dr. Mciver because it is Atrium that is the problem, not the physicians. I hope that congress breaks up such large medical corporations that diminish quality care for patients with more of a concentration on profits than, quality affordable care.

Dr. McIver listens well, seems knowledgeable about my history and complicated health issues, and offers sound feedback for my supporting and sustaining my health. He and the staff answer questions and explain procedures and tests clearly and patiently. I feel like I am in good healthcare hands with Dr. McIver and his team, and I am grateful for them and their care.
