Dr.Carpenter was beyond carrying and compassionate. I came in for severe anxiety over a very traumatic health event. Not only did Dr.Carpenter listen to me, he told me about how he overcame anxiety. It was the first time I felt like my doctor truly cared about me as a person. He sat down, did not rush me. For the last two months I haven't been able to sleep, I had gained weight, it's been hard for me to be present with my children. After I left my doctors appointment i felt so relieved. I took the rest of the day off work, enjoyed time with my children, I slept last night for the first time in two months. Just the relief that some else has overcome what I am going through: he didn't call me crazy, he did not judge me, he listened to me, he cared about me. I can't put into words how Dr.Carpenter is such an amazing doctor but an amazing person who truly cares about people. Atrium is very blessed to have Dr.Carpenter! I am so thankful I was able to see him!

Dr. Carpenter was great! It's the nurse I feel tried to convince me to have a wellness check that I don't need nor am I required to have.
