The visit was comfortable and informative. My concerns were addressed.
Provider excellent, but obtaining an appointment tedious. A year ago appt were done monthly. Called in Nov 2025 to try to obtain an end of Jan 2026 appt--1 year after previous in person appointment to get my name on the call list. Called back in Dec 2025. Hit the check on appt option instead of the appt desk #. I was told appointments were scheduled quarterly instead and all were taken for 1st quarter. I asked to be called when the next quarter were about to be released. I was told a text message would be sent out the first part of February. When I had not received a text message by mid February I called back and was told a message was sent out on my chart. I do not have a my chart account. All the I person appt were gone so I had to settle for a phone appt. I agreed since I had no real issues going on other than needing my prescription renewed for another year. Next year I definitely want to have an in person appt to be checked over and have my prescription renewed. I tried to confirm my appointment on the email from Atrium, but when I hit the confirm button an error occurred, so I called the number listed and was confirmed by phone. I had already been sent a text message to confirm my appointment and hit the confirm button and was sent a reply that my appt was confirmed. Later I was sent an email where the error occurred. I was able to get pre-registered by clicking on the web address sent to my phone. I am not very tech savvy which makes obtaining an in person appt difficult to obtain since they are few.
Very kind
This was my first conversation with Dr. Sigmon. He listened, asked questions, and explained things to me. He is easy to talk to and did not talk down to me or dismiss my concerns. I am greatly relieved to finally have a GI doctor that I believe I can trust. Dr. Sigmon came highly recommended.
Very efficient office. no waiting time, everyone was firendly and competent. The physician is exemplary -- the doctor's doctor. He had a med student with him, which is great. He is the kind of physician who should be teaching the next generation.
The physician did a good job of explaining why he is adding a new medicine to help control my IB Syndrome!
Dr Sigmon examined me thoroughly and the best treatment was decided upon with further action planned should it be needed. I feel so fortunate to have been seen by Dr Sigmon who is so intelligent and kind and patient.
Atrium is a terrific health system and Dr Sigmon is a very very good Dr.
Doctor Sigmon is an awesome provider. He took his time to listen to my concerns. I like that he looked at my history, and at my CT scan before talking with me. All in all he made me feel comfortable and I like that he listened to me. I highly recommend him.
Dr. Sigmon was very professional and thorough. I have had awful GI provider experiences in the past and was hesitant seeking out help but he was great. I appreciate the time he took to answer questions and to listen.
