I think it was wonderful that I was able to be seen as a new patient quickly but I was also disappointed that there was not more time given to actually establishing a new patient relationship. They did not know my history and when I tried to talk about it, I felt that I was rushed and that I was distracting them from just doing the basics of the appointment. I could understand this if I had been there before but I left the appointment feeling a bit concerned about this. I was in the office for over an hour but it still felt as if I was asking too many questions etc ... but didn't really feel heard. The nurse who took my blood pressure was more attentive though and I appreciate that because I was concerned about it. I would definitely return but I would strive to make sure the practitioner had a better understanding of my medical history and needs moving forward. I do realize how busy they are of course. I just feel it is important to establish an actual relationship with my provider, so they can be aware of possible medical issues in the future.
