Dr. Marc Harvey is the best 'provider' at MH Primary Care, in my opinion. I received a text from MHPC last month-reminder of my annual wellness visit. Actually-I had not scheduled this visit, but thought it was my annual physical. I was to see a different dr (not Dr. Harvey) with whom I was assigned after Dr. Whalen retired. Upon arriving, the assistant thanked me for completing questions in pre-registration. She then said she was giving me words to remember and a blank clock paper to fill in. I didn't schedule a "memory" test. I wanted the dr to look into my ear (fluid) as part of the 'physical.' The doctor came in, I asked her to look in my ear, but was told that is a different kind of visit. They then left to determine if coverage could be scheduled to include the dr to look in my ear and address concerns. After approximately 15 min, they returned to say it was approved, so the dr looked in my ear and listened to heart/lungs (my "physical,") and referred me for requested lab work. The lab results came back "abnormal" on 2 tests. Dr notes said she would 'monitor.' Results on the liver test were concerning to me (no mention by the dr,) as they were on 10 (out of 0-10.) My sister died of autoimmune hepatitis disorder. I scheduled an appt with Dr. Harvey-and he explained these results more fully, addressed my concerns, and ordered additional blood work for tomorrow. His manner with patients is what every doctor should emulate.
