He also asked me several times what questions or concerns I have, and listened closely to anything I had to share. He gives me clear information to help me better understand any ailment I might have and to explain medication he is prescribing. I always feel that we are engaging jointly in decision-making about how to proceed. In my mind, he represents what is good and right about the health care system and the important place that a primary care physician occupies.
