Dr. Toni Melville is very compassionate and she listens while putting you first when it comes to your well-being.
I have had questions since the appointment and have messaged the doctor 3 times, once on Wednesday, then Thursday, and also Friday. I have also called the office once each day since my appointment and the person answering the phone has told me they are leaving messages for the nurse and marking the message urgent. Today is Saturday and I have had zero responses. One of the meds that was prescribed for me apparently had to be approved by BCBS before it could be filled. I tried to reach out to the doctor to have them just send the prescription to my pharmacy and I would see how much the prescription was and would perhaps just pay cash. That's one of the messages still not responded to. On Friday BCBS approved the prescription. That same day the pharmacist called me to tell me that the copay for the cream was going to be $500. She also advised me that the way that the prescription was written, she wasn't able to compound it, but that the compounded version of the cream would have a $65 copay. At my appointment The doctor discussed with me that she was going to send in a script that had to be compounded and did my pharmacy do compounding, which it does. But then she sent in a prescription that cannot be compounded and has a $500 copay. I reached out to the doctor yet again by message and by calling the office and, of course, have heard nothing back. It's really frustrating to not have a way to communicate with anyone who can actually do something. I don't know how often the doctors check for messages, but apparently my doctor hasn't checked since last Wednesday and the nurses haven't checked any of their "urgent" messages since Wednesday either. It has been a frustrating experience.
She's always super caring and I feel like a great provider to answer any questions I ever have
I was very impressed that my provider reviewed my lab results and sent comments on a Saturday. She clearly realized how nervous I was and wanted to make sure I had some peace of mind and I greatly appreciate that.
Dr Melville is an excellent physician. She is honest and optimistic and listens as a friend, female and professional. I am extremely comfortable sharing all of my personal Information with her and respect her opinions and thoughts on my health issues. We work together to decide the best plan of health care for me with her as the expert. I look forward to my visits with her.
This was the best experience I've ever had at a doctor's office. Everyone was kind, calm, caring, and inviting. I generally don't do very well at doctors offices, as I get quite nervous, but everyone at this practice helped me to feel calm and understood. The questions I had were met with enthusiastic and well answered responses, and I was given referrals for an OBGYN should I choose to change from my current provider. I cannot say enough good things about this experience!
Dr. Melville is extremely knowledgeable and is very personable. Great Doctor.
Listens well and offers advice.
Doctor Melville was very patient and concerned with my concerns and I trust that she holds high regards for my health care interest
She clearly explained my options and what her opinions were regarding medication, but still left the door open for me to ask questions. I left feeling confident that the best decisions had been made regarding treatment.
