Always an excellent experience.
Dr Chen is an excellent provider of services and a very competent physician. He has been more than a trusted professional, he has been like a friend who is interested in my being treated according to the practice of medicine, AND to the humanity of healing. Sadly, he is the exception to the rule, and beyond what is expected from healthcare systems. I appreciate the opportunity to provide this feedback.
Sometimes it seems like he's in a rush, and talks very quickly. While he's very friendly and professional, I wish he would slow down just a little bit. All in all, he does a good job.
Dr. Chen has been my doctor for many years and I am happy to say he has always been a wonderful physician. He has listened to all my health concerns with kindness and concern. It is really hard anymore to find a doctor that listens and cares but I'm so thankful that I found him. Thank you Dr. Chen and God bless you for all you do!
Doctor Chen is amazing. He is always so helpful and supportive. He listens to my concerns and gives me advice on what to do to improve my health. His staff is so nice too.
I am grateful to have well knowledgeable professional provider who listen to my concerns answering my questions about my health.
I like Dr Chen and am comfortable with him, for the most part. Unfortunately that has changed, somewhat. I have been on compounded semaglutides for most of a year. My current dose is 1mg every 7 days, and I have plateaued. He wanted me to switch to Wegovy and to start over at .25 to .50 to 1.0 again. I feel that is a waste of my money and time. Also asked (since semaglutide has plateaued) for an Rx for tirzepatide (the compounded version is still available and is actually more effective for weight loss. Since my Rx is NOT covered by Medicare for weight loss, and there is supposedly no protocol for cardiac coverage, my cost would be around $1K @month. That is not even close to affordable for me. Compounded tirzepatide is more effective (resulting in more weight loss) and would cut cost by 3/4, I asked for that medication. He refused and reiterated the .25-.50-1.0 restart explanation. He should listen to his patients. I have done my research, am extremely careful with dosage and have had no issues up to this point. There is no reason not to change to the other meds so as to be more successful in my attempts to be healthier. I am looking at other options (ie: changing PCPs, possibly to Novant) to solve the problem.
Great visit
Dr. Chen was great! The assistants were also great, I think one of them was named Brook.
Great Doctor, who really cares!
