1) nobody scheduled to have my staples removed, only reason I got it scheduled was bc I called in pain needing a refill on pain meds and figured I'd ask about my staples since my only follow up appt was a month after my surgery. 2) given the severity of my surgery and the fact that I went back into a 2nd emergency surgery, it would have been nice to get a call from someone checking to make sure I was healing well. 3) both times I needed to pickup a prescription I was required to call the pharmacy myself when the issue wasn't with me it was a question about my prescription from the pharmacy to the Dr. (after talking to the pharmacist they stated that the Dr. wrote to take 1 muscle relaxer every hour but they can't be taken like that so they needed clarification- a simple mistake but it caused a huge delay in me getting my meds given the pain I was in) I've had many prescriptions called into this pharmacy and have never had an issue. 4) I wish I would have been able to talk to someone directly at the doctors office as every time I had to leave a voicemail the avg call back time was 2 hours - resulting in it taking over 24 hours to get my prescriptions. 5) had a 2 pm appt (arrived at 1:45 pm) but didn't get called back until 2:45 pm... I truly do enjoy Dr. Parish and his staff, however, given this has been one of the most traumatic experiences/ surgeries/ recovery processes I've been through it just would have been nice to receive a phone call to check in.
Dr. Parish was kind, caring and seemed to really care about my condition. He took his time with me. I felt extremely comfortable discussing my health issues with him.
