Dr. Matulay is a urologic oncology (cancer) surgeon specializing in bladder, kidney, ureteral, testicular, prostate and penile cancer. He is an assistant professor in the Department of Urology at Atrium Health Levine Cancer Institute.
He received his medical degree and completed his residency at Columbia University. He followed that with a fellowship at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.
He has won numerous awards, including the John K. Lattimer Prize in Urology from Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons, the Cure Cancer Foundation Trainee Travel Award from the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the Urology Care Foundation Research Scholar Award. Additionally, he was recognized as a Ferdinand C. Valentine Medalist from the NY Section of the American Urological Association.
