My care provider was thorough explaining all the procedures I needed in a way I could understand. It was nice knowing she cared about helping me get the help I needed to relieve the pain I was having.

Dr. Brooks Evariste is a breath of fresh air. I am so happy that I found her. I was visiting the Internal Medicine team in Huntersville and was never very pleased overall. I moved to Denver, and searched the Atrium portal for providers in the area and found Dr. Evariste. She is wonderful! Has a great bedside manner, is efficient and to the point. My husband now goes to her, and my parents and moved over to her as well (also from Huntersville). In respect to Huntersville, when you broach a subject that is concerning to you with the PA you're seeing - and they say "well maybe you should find another Dr...." I was really turned off by that. Then a few months later, my husband questioned the same PA about a medication recommendation - and she said the SAME thing to him - well, maybe you should find another provider? If a medical professional cannot engage with their patients in a professional manner and ask questions about their care or recommendations that are being made - it's a problem. And I love PA's - some are wonderful and excellent at what they do. But, they are infact not physicians. The level of care they provide cannot be equal to that of an MD or DO. I went to Huntersville IM for 2 years and was NEVER able to see a physician. And my mother made an appt with one, and when she arrived - she was seen by the same PA. The PA moved her over to her schedule. That wasn't her call to make. Anyway, I wouldn't give Atrium IM a great review; but everyone in Dr. Brooks Evariste office is great and I will continue to recommend her to people.

I LOVE Dr Everest!! I am so glad I found her! She really listens to me and spends ample time with me which is the opposite of my last provider who was ushering me out the door very quickly! She is very knowledgeable and up to date in medical knowledge! She's kind and sweet as well!
