I love it there
I feel like I'm part of a team. I feel comfortable as soon as I enter the clinic doors. The receptionists are always pleasant and professional. Once I'm in the exam room I don't feel rushed. The nurse is always both personable and professional. My PCP listens to my concerns and provides me with options of how to pursue a treatment and/or provides me with the referrals needed for a more in depth examination of my problem. He never shrugs off any of my concerns. I believe in and I'm comfortable with his suggestions . He always orders appropriate lab tests and send the results to me via the portal as soon as they're available. In the past year issues with my Thyroid have come up resulting in my PCP referring me to an Endocrinologist for treatment but at the same time he stays a part of the team ordering labs as needed. Recently I developed some rectal bleeding which was a bit frightening to me. But my PCP ordered some initial lab work and then referred me to a gastroenterologist . After my treatments with them were unsuccessful and I was referred to a colo-rectal surgeon I spoke with my PCP about my fears and concerns about surgery and discussed other options. He then referred me to an interventional radiologist to explore a less invasive course of treatment. The reason I've gone into detail in this review is I want to make clear that I couldn't feel more comfortable or confident in another PCP than I am with the staff at Atrium in Davidson.
