Can I say that I love my surgeon? Dr. Augensteinis the most attentive and available surgeon that I have ever met. I was in both private practice and hospital practice as a chief surgical PA, and her ability to focus on the patient and their surgical site, as well as the entire preoperative focus, makes her outstanding. I have referred four people, one of whom had surgery the same day that I did.
In the last several months, I have experienced care,concern and treatments about the diseases from any/and all professionals! Who were involved in treating my medical issues! Great!!!

Could not have been a better experience. Expert Physicians in this department. Excellent. However, there is one thing that would make me consider going to Novant or Gastonia to another hospital. The parking must be the worst anywhere. New buildings and clinics going up everywhere and no expansion of parking. It took 30 minutes of driving around and around the yellow parking deck without signs or directions while looking for a parking spot. There are arrows on the pavement saying IN or such and then finding that the lane is a dead end and no way backwards. Signs are not expensive if you shop. Or, get a marker pen and make a sign. It appears the hospital administration is more interested in glamor and prestige than helping anyone arrive at the facilities. I would bet that the senior administration has a special parking area or they do not even work onsite at the facility.
