I cannot rave enough about Dr Downey. I knew that he was a fantastic physician because he had cared for my parents in the past. I suffer from severe anxiety and worry about medical appointments and had put off seeing a cardiologist for years due to this fear. Dr Downey's calm caring personality put me at ease and i now look forward to working with he and the SHVI team to get in great cardiac shape!!

Dr Downey is an exceptionally nice and knowledgeable doctor. I am very pleased to be his patient. The only problem is, partly because of his strong personal qualities, it takes a long time to get an appointment with him. The Sanger Clinic's practice of not making appointments past the end of the current year is unusual and not very patient-friendly. But I know I am getting excellent care.
