New patient to this office. Very well staffed. Only one negative comment. The wait time was 45 minutes in the exam room which Dr Lyons apologized for, explained and was unavoidable. However, it would have made waiting easier had her assistant at least let me know that there was a holdup. It would have gone a long way into making me feel that I was not forgotten. Dr Lyons was well versed in my previous history and had answers to all of my questions. She even correctly diagnosed a problem that three other doctors had not been able to, just by talking to me. Will continue to see her. She also explained she was only in this office three days a week but wrote down the name of the NP she works with should I need an appointment and she wasn't available. This was so helpful and easier than picking an unknown provider off a list.
The scheduling in this office is unacceptable. They seem to double book patients or space them too closely. That's unrealistic, considering the time a doctor needs to be with each patient. I arrived 15 minutes before my appointment as requested. Waited to be called in. And then, I had to wait another 45 minutes or more to actually see the doctor. This is not the first time this has happened.

This was my first visit with Dr Lyons. I was very impressed and have recommended to my husband to consider her as his PCP as well.
