I appreciate the medical care I received at my first appointment and wanted to share one suggestion. The current exam room layout places the doctor and computer so that the doctor's back is to the patient during much of the conversation, which made it hard to feel fully engaged. If there were a way to angle the computer or seating so the doctor can face the patient while documenting, it would really improve the experience and communication. I would also like to mention that my first appt with this provider was at 3pm and I did not see her until 4:04 pm when she entered the room

The staff at Charlotte Medical Arboretum is always welcoming and friendly -- this starts at the reception desk, Dr. Lyons' team, and lastly the phlebotomist. I changed my PCP earlier this year to Dr. Lyons and I am very pleased. She is easy to communicate with, she listens with care, and I trust her professional guidance. I feel that I am in good hands and I am grateful for that.
Dr Lyons is professional, competent, friendly, and willing to listen, discuss options, direct and spend the time necessary to give the care needed. Without her nurse this visit she did everything needed. She even set up my next appointment. As usual I felt well cared for and as if I was her only patient.
