I had an overall powerfully negative experience, which is unfortunate since this was the second provider I've seen in this office who I felt dismissed my concerns, and since I have to now travel further to receive high-quality care that I need. This provider was unprofessional from the beginning of my interaction with her, and was about 2 hours late for my appointment (which is longer than I waited in a completely full Atrium ER waiting room last year). Although this provider did demonstrate a few attempts at empathy toward me, her tone and choice of words communicated contempt and judgement. My concerns were not addressed, and I left feeling defeated. This provider also made her personal beliefs about being pro-life very clear, which made me highly uncomfortable. Also, it appears my urine sample was lost, or was just not tested, which indicates a lack of organization and structure in this office. I would not recommend this provider or office and am hoping to transfer my care to the Lake Norman OB/GYN office, due to better provider fit/professionalism of providers even though it's a 45 minute drive one-way. I would like follow-up contact regarding my experience from Atrium's leadership as soon as possible.
